Power raking is the mechanical or manual process of removing a lawns excess thatch. It is also an important part of maintaining a healthy lawn that will assist in water and nutrients to reach the roots along with aeration.

When dethatching your lawn it could be done over and over and you will still get thatch. When we power rake we don’t attempt to remove all the thatch. Your lawn needs some thatch to help protect the roots.

We prefer to cut weekly through the growing season with the option of reducing the frequency later in the season.

In some cases we can but the price per cut is more than the regular weekly service.

We dispatch our crews at 4am on mornings there is snow and aim to have all our residential customers snow removal by 8 am.

If there is no snow at 4am but it begins to immediately snow

after that time, the latest that snow will sit is until the next morning 4am. In these instances if enough snow has fallen by the PM or if the snowfall has ceased by then we often will remove it earlier at our discretion.

You may cancel any time in the season with proper written notice AND confirmed receipt of that notice by our office ( email works best).

Please note, that if you cancel a flat-rate service within the contract period your billing/amount owed reverts to a per time charge. You must pay for all services rendered up to the point of cancellation. In other words, if you cancel one month into the contract period and the work rendered exceeds the monthly payment you will owe the greater amount.
